1978-1982: Vice President, Client Advisory Group. Coordinated financial consulting projects undertaken for bank clients. Key aspects of job were marketing, issue identification, project definition, and quality control. Studies covered wide range of topics including debt capacity, bond and commercial paper rating advice, capital structure, cost of capital, valuations, dividend policy, acquisition strategy, industry studies, and so on. Also participated on department's personnel recruiting committee.

1972-1978: Financial Analyst specializing in the nonferrous metals industry with some exposure to the steel and chemical industries as well. Analyzed credit risk of existing loans and new business opportunities for the Bank. Undertook financial consulting assignments for clients. Major projects included financial planning, acquisition screens, industry studies, valuations, project finance feasibility studies, and so on. Also analyzed existing and prospective investments for the Bank's venture capital subsidiary.
